Talking to leading envionmentalists, scientists and spiritual leaders, Harding  explores how the over-dominance of rational thought and our obsessive need to do something have blocked our ability to simply connect with and care for the planet. Although science has often been at the forefront of our war on nature, Harding argues that a new kind of science based on wisdom as well as knowledge could be the way forward. Harding believes that we need to reclaim the power we have given to the rational mind and allow our intuition to guide us back to a place where each of us can once again love and care for the earth. It is only once we have regained a more balanced way of thinking, that science and each of us individually will be able to find our way out of the crisis that we and the planet now face.
